Carjacking isn't as easy an endeavor as Grand Theft Auto makes it look.
Wannabe jacker Dominic C. Anderson found out Sunday that not all marks are just going to hand over the keys and empty their pockets if you point a gun at them. Not that it's recommended to go all Steven Seagal in that situation.
KCTV 5 reports that a guy named Robert Tillman was washing his wife's car at a car wash at 3011 Van Brunt when a man approached him with a gun drawn and demanded money. Tillman wasn't about to give up any money, but he was handing out free ass whoopins.
Tillman employed the old "look behind you" trick, which Anderson fell for, and Tillman wrestled him to the ground, took the guy's gun and
held him face down on the pavement while waiting for police to arrive.
Tillman is ex-military, so he should know something about hand-to-hand
combat. But he's not recommending anyone else do what he did.
"I'm not telling everybody do what I did," Tillman said. "InLucky for Tillman, he came out on top.
that particular moment, you could say what you think you're going to
do. Until it really happens, you don't know what you're going to do."
