Missouri auditor Susan Montee announced yesterday that the Show-Me State's sex offender registry is looking pretty damn good these days with more compliant offenders, especially compared to 2002. Yay!

Not that there isn't bad news. The feds say Missouri isn't compliant with federal law -- guess the state's reporting requirements aren't as strict as the feds' (so says bad news bringer, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch). D'oh!

Last month, we looked at Missouri's 85 most wanted sex offenders, including Richard Fontenoy on the right there. Take a look back and also check Missouri's official sex offender website for the most up-to-date list of absconders.

May I suggest that if Kansas folks did not protest these people at thier home, a practice that often drives them underground, Kansas law enforcement might have an easier time keeping a watch on the resident creeps and rapists. They are like parasites, sadly we all have them, and we all have to keep them somewhere. Knowing where they live and work and all kind of makes it safer for everyone everywhere.
