'74/365': The Pitch Flickr Pool Pic of the Week

Royals losing...again? Might as well get a drink.

Royals fans don't get nearly as much credit as they should for their undivided love and support of an often disappointing team. You don't hear us blaming crappy performances on curses like those foolhardy Cubs fans (though we have our fair share of them). No, we diligently stream into the K, cheering and shouting invectives to the sky, only to come out with another loss under our belts.

But when the going gets tough, the tough get drinkin' at the Stadium Club. It was here that Pitch Flickr Pool member Jeremy Jewell captured this candid photo.

Jewell said it was another disappointing day at the K when he stopped into the stadium's bar.

"I didn't find the Stadium Club especially conducive to paying attention,

so I snapped a few pictures of this and that, before noticing these two

guys," he said. "I like the candidness of this picture the most. Just a quick second

and the moment was gone ... probably because the guy heard my shutter."

"74/365" is just one of the great

pics in The Pitch's

Flickr Pool. Share your best photos by joining the group. They

may even be featured on Pitch.com.
