Original Story (12 p.m. August 20): Take back every fat joke you've ever made about Jason Whitlock, everybody, because the laugh's on us. According to SBNation's Kansas City page, the dude will be pulling down $2.1 million under his three-year contract with FOX.
It's been rumored that the former Kansas City Star columnist's salary was in the six figures, far beyond any other columnist's salary at the daily.
We bet that with this news, Whitlock's acquaintances are already lining
up to audition for the role of Big Sexy's new
BFF.
The author of the blog post, Joel Thorman, also mentions a rumor that Whitlock is moving to Los Angeles. Guess we'll have to keep an eye on Whitlock's suburban lawn for "For Sale" signs.
Or perhaps he'll tell us today at 3 p.m. during "The Explanation." He has three hours to kill, after all.

I don't understand how he got that job, let alone be paid for it. Also, that pic with the bimbos is disgusting.
Good riddance to Mr. Whitlock. He is atypical of the kind of characters Fox hires.
No respect for any black man or woman who doesn't vote, but is quick to castigate the President of the U.S.
It's a shame good people aren't rewarded in this society.
Whitlock will say anything for money. I don't doubt he was treated poorly at the Star or any other place he worked. He is rude and does his best to creat a situation that brings attention. How would you treat a guy like that.
