Robin Carnahan must be taking Roy Blunt's "Rubber Stamp Robin" attack ads way too seriously in their bare-knuckle brawl for Kit Bond's U.S. Senate seat.

Carnhan was in true shitty-politician mode yesterday, flipping her position on the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans. Now she likes the tax cuts -- set to expire at the end of the year -- and wants to extend them.

Robin, I'd like you to meet my friend Jon and his robotic friend, Fareed

Zakaria. They have a special message for deficit-fearing Republicans Democrats like yourself.

Robo Zakaria just said that "George Bush's massive tax cuts are the single largest chunk of our structural budget deficit. ... Were the tax credits to expire, the budget deficit would instantly shrink by about 30 percent or more than $3 billion."

Robin, you can take the "fiscal responsibility" section off your website now.

@ ground zero Roy: You have now shown your true self. A ZERO. It's a shame there isn't a good independent candidate to trounce you.

Call her campaign office and give them what for: 314-367-2004 We already have one blue dog in the Senate in McCaskill, the last thing we need is another one in Carnahan. However, I am in no way advocating you vote for Jack Abramhoff's buddy Roy Blunt.
