Twenty-year-old Jacobus Swanepoel left South Africa to study abroad in Middle America, where apparently he was so bored that he found himself in a chat room sex-typing little girls.

In the middle of one June night this summer, Swanepoel's chatbuddy allegedly snuck out of her house and met him for a tryst, according to a story in the Star. There, she revealed her A/S/L in person: the girl was 12.

But that didn't deter the foreign sexchange student, who allegedly had sex with the girl in his car anyway.

He later texted the girl an apology for hurting her, police say. But four days later, he was having sex with the way-underage girl again, picking her up at her mother's home and driving her to a vacant lot.

The girl and her aunt reported the assault, and Swanepoel was charged Tuesday with first-degree statutory rape and sodomy. If convicted, he faces serious prison time, unless the girl's dad gets to him first.
