It wasn't that long ago the Kansas City Wizards beat Manchester United here on good, rich American soil. Surely, across the pond they have good things to say about us. Right? Ha. No. The only thing they can say about our hometown footballers is that when we choke, the choking it is epic.
Hence UK publication Sport putting a Wizards miss from this season on their list of the worst missed goal attempts of all time.
The Wizard's made the list with a blown kick already being referred to in some circles as the "Miss of the Century." It happened earlier this year when Wizards player Kei Kamara missed the kick at the goal line completely, slipped, and tried to get the ball into the net with his arm. "Kamara will probably have to live with his 'miss of the century' for the rest of his career," Sport writes. Suck.
