When cops responded to the America's Best Value Inn in Independence at 2 a.m. on August 15, they found a carload of sweaty Hispanic men. The men, none of them documented, told the officers they were sweating from dancing, but witnesses told a different story.

According to the Independence Examiner,

witnesses described a large Hispanic gang fight that ended with "SUR

13" spray-painted on a wall. Because, you know, when you're in a country

illegally and trying to pass off a gang fight as an impromptu dance

party, it's best to spray gang signs everywhere.

Officers found a loaded handgun and two knives in the SUV the men were driving, and all six were arrested. One, Alejandro Gonzales, is a veteran of the Surenos, a Los Angeles street gang, police say; they believe another, a juvenile, is an up-and-coming gang-banger in Kansas City.

Everyone but the juvenile is in the process of being deported, one of them for the second time, which explains the previously unidentified tingle felt in the pants of Kris Kobach and his entire campaign staff.

As far as the tingle goes I think you're referring to Chris Mathews comment about a thrill up his leg everytime he either saw or heard Obama. But that's irrelevant. The relevant issue here is this If you're unwilling to defend your borders you are no longer a nation. Second illegal is just that ILLEGAL. Third why the heck is wrong with everyone is there no forum for civil discourse in America? I myself am sick an tired of being a hyphenated American. We either are an American with the ideals principles and bvliefs that founded this nation, whom poeple fight bleed and die for, or we're just a conglomeration of loosely alled people out for themselves which will be eventally over run, dissolved and fade into time. IF WE DO FADE AWAY I FEEL FOR THE WORLD BECAUSE THERE IS NO OTHER COUNTRY THAT DEFENDS THE RIGHTS OF OTHERS LIKE US. I AM THE PRODGENY OF AN IMMIGRANT WHO CAME THROUGH ELLIS ISLAND IN THE EARLY 1900'S LEGALLY. Let's let everyone else do the same and quit squabbling over who's being picked on the most, take our feelings off of our shirtsleeves pull our heads out of our behinds and get our selves together.

A Proud Vetran and an even Prouder American

@ Anonymous: So... you find it amusing that you can jump on another commenter, ad hominem...? I'm betting you feel HIGHLY superior for your erudite wit and arrogant condescension, don't you?

Newsflash: your rapier wit is lost here... try the KosKidz or HuffPo. They'll like you over there just fine...

Hahaha. Sylda, are you one of the most "acknowledgable" people on the English language in general, too? 'Cause I'm guessing the answer is no.

Whatever you say, illegal is illegal and no matter what you say about Kris Kobach he is a man against illegal. He is running for Secretary of State in Kansas. He is a man striving to overcome illegal. Kris is fighting it in AZ, KS and wherever he is. He is one of, if not the most acknowledgeable, people in the country on the Constitution. He wants our country to live by the Constitution as it was originally written. He will eliminate voter fraud in Kansas, setting an example for the country. He will work/fight for "legal" in every aspect of Kansas government he has at his disposal. Anyone and everyone who wants "legal" should and will vote for Kris Kobach on November 2.

I don't think growing up and discussing the issues is within their realm. After all that's happened since 9/11, if they haven't figured it out yet, it's not going to happen.

Opposing illegal immigration, supporting the sovereignty of our nation, and preserving the integrity of our electoral process by fighting voter fraud is not racist. The progressives have almost made the word "racist" without meaning because everyone who opposes any of their aggenda is accused of being one. Why don't you guys grow up and discuss the issues instead of resorting to intimidation by name calling.

@Abe: I don't disagree.

@John B: One man's cheap and sad is another man's mildly amusing. (Although in this case, I'm still waiting for that other man to show up.)

@Bob: No one said anything about amnesty, for these guys or anyone else.

@Jim Rice: It wasn't me who felt the tingle, it was Kris Kobach. Only he didn't feel the tingle either, because I made that up. It was simply a way of articulating that this particular news story fits nicely into Kobach's narrative -- a narrative I think he overstates to his own political gain, but that in this specific case proves true: Illegal Immigrants Are Horrible People.

I won't file a complaint, because I don't think these men's rights were violated. If I did, I would have said so. I do think people's rights are being violated daily in Arizona, and were long before SB 1070, by an out-of-control lawman who makes a mockery of the law-enforcement community. But I won't file a complaint, because I don't live there, and it sounds like a lot of paperwork.

Wonder if Mr.Tone would have had the same tingle feeling had it been him or his family involved in this gang fight. I do not understand what is so objectionable in deporting illegals no matter if it excites Mr. Kobach or not, they are ILLEGAL!!!!!

Perhaps Mr. Tone may want to file something with the UN and complain about possible human rights violations like the Administration did with Arizona??

Why would the word "illegal" NOT mean anything to those opposed to Kris Kobach?
If people are FOR amnesty, then I suggest they donate THEIR paychecks to the cause of housing and feeding and carrying for them because those here legally have no motivation to do it on their own.
History will bear witness that those who are given everything freely will abuse and misuse it.. it is human nature.
These guys are here "illegally" and evidently do not have time to get a job... too busy beating the crap out of eachother and terrorizing neighborhoods.
Those in favor of amnesty and open borders need to check out immigration enforcement on the OTHER side of the border.

Tingle, huh? Can't make your point without going below the belt. Cheap and sad.

Kris Kobach might be a racist piece of shit, but it's a good thing that these scumbags were picked up and sent packing. Liberals need to realize this, but instead they only focus on the innocent ones that get rounded up. Arizona might be doing it wrong, but at least they have the right idea.
