in order to gain a remission of the oppressive taxation imposed by her husband on his tenants"? Some dude named Tom watched her naked ride and was struck blind, the story goes.
Michael Pinkerton, a 33-year-old perv from Clinton County, has lots of time to read up on such lore, after being sentenced in federal court yesterday for receiving child pornography.
Pinkerton was arrested in November 2005 when Kansas City police officers received a report that he was hiding in the women's dressing room of a Target store in Clay County and photographing young girls as they changed. Further investigation of Pinkerton's possessions revealed two Compaq computers in a storage facility that contained child porn.
Pinkerton subscribed to five pay-per-view child porn websites and was trying to subscribe to a sixth, according to the U.S. Attorney's office. The computer's "favorites" files contained titles suggesting child porn and rape.
He's lucky that U.S. District Judge Gary Fenner couldn't sentence him to "blindness."
