Civil War-mustachioed Florida preacher man Terry Jones backed off
his plans to burn the Islamic religious text on Saturday. So, after
calling out Jones for stealing their church's 2008 attention-grabbing
ploy, Phelps-Roper and her kin are picking up where Jones left off.
"The false prophet Terry Jones caved--like all false prophets do, and like we told you he would," Phelps-Roper bragged.
She continued, basically calling Jones a pussy and blaming the deaths of soldiers on everyone imaginable.
"While you sissy brats browbeat and jockey with the false prophet Terry
Jones--pretending like the lives of those soldiers are your political and
personal pawns--we will tell you the truth. The blood of the dead
soldiers is dripping off the hands of General Petraeus. The blaspheming
talking heads (politicians, talk show hosts, false prophets, arrogant
Pentagon-perverts) of this nation of proud sinners have put the
bulls-eye of God on the backs of these soldiers. Burning the Quran could
not possibly imperil your soldiers any more than you have."
She wasn't done. Now she had a message for Muslims.
"It's time to talk to the false religious systems of theworld--we'll start with the perverted Muslims and their pedophile prophet
Muhammad! We will burn your Quran on 9/11/10. To tell the
world that the Muslims are the servants of God -- and they will bring the
final affliction to Israel and the Jews according to the promises of
God."
No word on where and what time Westboro's flock plans to light their Quran on fire.

This Westboro Baptist Church says they hate the Gay-Community.
But, they also hate African Americans, Dr. & Mrs. King, Canada, Sweden, the
Fire Department of N.Y., victims of 911, other Christian churches, the pope,
Judaism, America, our American troops and the list goes on and on. Many of the
groups they despise are specifically named on their hate propaganda, picket
signs and their many websites. They not only hate, but wish death on all whom

This so-called “church” spreads its hate through picketing in
our streets, provoking attacks, with abusive language and flag desecration,
attempting to create a confrontation. This is not about protesting, this is
about a life of hate. They are in it for the money and the press. They are not a "church." They go
after any thing that can get them in the news. This group will protest anything
to get its face on TV or in the news. This group is lost in the darkness of
hate, and will put there children in danger to shield themselves.
These people protest at the funerals of our troops. Do we have a
real need to protest at any funeral? Is that a real freedom?
The city of Topeka, the state of Kansas and the U.S. at large,
its citizens and their churches, schools and events are all held hostage by
this "hate group."-always at the tax payer's expense.

I was confused, I always thought to burn a book meant to read it as fast as it would normally be consumed by flame. Why would you ever burn any book. They all have value (different to different people). We should all burn through books, but never burn them. Of course the Imam shouldn't be putting up mosques near ground zero, IMHO. We all know we have rights and can do what we please within the law, but that doesn't make it right.
