Call Guinness! Monday the record for most people doing the robot is

getting broken.

Students at the University of Kansas City-Missouri are trying claim the world record of 429 set by London's Whitgift Independent School in May. They'll get together around 6 p.m. at the Stanley Durwood Soccer Stadium and Recreational Field (5100 block of Cherry). DJ JT Quick will be there, too. And since they really, really want the record, anyone can join in.

It's part of the Kangaroos' homecoming week and a way to pimp out the

library's "book robot."

UMKC's students are already practicing ...

So you better get practicing too. I only hope it turns out this awesome.

And you thought the robot was just

something dorky white dudes do

be ironic.
