Update (2:53 p.m. September 29): The victim of this morning's homicide at 12th Terrace and Fremont had been identified as 34-year-old Keith D. Williams.

Police are still looking for suspects in the case.

Original Story (7:32 a.m. September 29): The death toll is even higher this morning than we first realized. Two people were shot at 12th Terrace and Fremont around 12:10 a.m.

Police found a man in his thirties shot to death outside of a black Chevrolet Caprice on Fremont, just south of 12th Terrace.

A second shooting victim -- a man in his thirties -- was also

located about a block away from the dead man near the intersection of

12th Terrace and Bennington.

The second shooting victim was taken to a local hospital, and we don't know his condition at this time.

We don't know any names yet. We'll let you know when we do.

Detectives are trying to piece together what happened. If you can help, call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
