Jeremy Comstock is a slippery devil.
  • Jeremy Comstock is a slippery devil.
Jeremy Comstock is a slippery devil.
Update II (3:52 p.m. October 1): He just turned himself in. Wuss.

Update (3:20 p.m. October 1): Thanks to Nick Sloan at the Kansas City Kansan, we now have Jeremy Comstock's escape on video. Via the magic of YouTube, we learn 1) that Wyandotte County might consider cuffing inmates' hands behind their backs in the future, 2) Comstock is actually wearing a striped polo shirt, 3) Officer Wrong-Way McGee will be teased back at the station, and 4) Wooooo! Lookit that boy run! (Video after the jump)

Original Story (1:15 p.m. October 1):  Do they coat the inmates at the Wyandotte County Detention Center with vegetable oil before their court appearances or something?

Jeremy Comstock is the second guy in a month

to slip out of custody and escape from the WyCo courthouse. Even though

he's still handcuffed, Comstock is somehow considered dangerous,

authorities say.

Comstock was in trouble for allegedly attempting a carjacking at 5th and

Tauromee. When he escaped today, he was wearing a white polo shirt,

dark jeans and handcuffs. He can be apprehended if you offer to scratch

his nose for him. Seriously, isn't that always when your nose itches? Like when you're under that smock at the hairdresser's?

No, seriously, if you see this dude, call 816-474-8477.
