History tells us that when Ssion singer and filmmaker Cody Critcheloe and designer to the indy stars Peggy Noland team up to make a music video, it will be colorful, probably a little strange, and -- like it or not -- impossible to turn away from.

Critcheloe directed Gossip's new video for "Men In Love" (with Noland styling it), which was released this week, and it's exactly what you would expect. Shot one September day in Los Angeles, the video shows lead singer Beth Ditto in impeccable Noland-designed dresses, piloting the party bus from hell. Behind Ditto, her bandmates play the catchy track while riders engage in a variety of unsavory behaviors, including puking and pissing. (Watch the video after the jump.)

The video is Critcheloe and Noland's second collaboration this summer, following last month's Critcheloe show at The Hole gallery in New York where Noland had a pop-up shop constructed out of garbage.

Check out tomorrow's edition of The Pitch for an in-depth feature story on Noland.
