A lot of people have wanted to fight cops but few have actually issued a challenge in a full-page newspaper ad. Rich Stephens did, challenging Byrnes Mill police officer Tim Walker to a mixed martial arts fight.

Stephens, who played for the Oakland Raiders in the mid-'90s, claims that Walker kicked him and shoved him into a police car for no reason during a recent arrest. Now, as he told KTVI

Fox 2, "I just want his head on my hand."

Walker hasn't accepted so Stephens has taken his challenge to the streets, driving around Byrnes Mill with a giant sign in the bed of his old Ford truck reading: "What is short, fat & round all over? A Byrnes Mill cop!"

Boom! Roasted!

"People think I'm a little nutty," Stephens said. "And I'm just calling him out. He's a tough guy behind the badge and gun. He needs to drop it and see how tough he is."

Uh, no. Of course, KTVI got the view of random Missouri rube.

"I think it's great," the woman said of Stephens' sign. "Most people don't have that kind of nerve."

Nerve? How about narcissism. Here's a video of Stephens making Missouri proud.
