Neal Thompson dresses up like Jesus Christ every Sunday. And for 22 years, he's hopped from church to church for Sunday services dressed as Jesus -- white robe, cross and staff (personally, I think he's more of a Gandalf. He's just reppin' J.C. and spreading the word.
"We're called to be ambassadors for Jesus Christ, ambassadors should
represent, and that's what I do," Thompson told KTVI Fox 2. "I try to
represent my Lord and savior Jesus Christ." But Thompson wasn't welcome at one St. Louis-area church.
Jesus Christ lookalikes apparently aren't welcome at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Des Peres.
"One of the deacons saw me," Thompson told KTVI, "and when I went
in the church he met me and he said, 'Can I help you? What do you want?'
I said, 'I want to go to church here today.' And he said, 'What do you
believe in? Are you Christian? What religion are you?' I said, 'I'm a
Christian.'"
Thompson wasn't allowed into the sanctuary; he was told to stay in the hallway. Thompson wasn't satisfied with praying in a hallway, so he called out the church for not treating him right. So they called the cops on him. Thompson said four or five police officers showed up and asked him to leave. He did.
Don't worry, St. Paul's. Thompson isn't mad at you.
"Oh I forgive them, I forgive them," Thompson told KTVI.
Thompson has been here before. He said this was the second time that a church kicked him out. But he won't be deterred. He'll try to go back to St. Paul's. For his sake, hopefully they accept him (but not as their lord and savior).

This is why society looks at religion as foolish. Did it ever occur to him that Jesus was not white anyway; he was not only just a prophet, but he was Aramaic! And lastly, why would some fool think that any "lord" would want some fool dressing up like him anyway? Ever think about that?
Okay, I don't care who you are, that's funny. That's got to be one of the best things I'll hear all day.

Reminds me of the old joke:
A visitor at a church stood up, surprisingly and quickly, during a sermon and called out "Praise Jesus!".
And it startled the congregation and the minister but the minister recovered and began to speak again.
After a bit, the man stood up again and again called out, "Praise Jesus!"
After this, an usher went over to the man, took him by the arm to escort him out and said "I'm sorry sir, but we don't allow that in here."
