Cokeheads, it's not snowing in Salina. And mules, you probably want to refuel your planes in another town.
Salina, Kansas, police confiscated 105 pounds of cocaine from a private plane that landed at the Salina Municipal Airport on September 27, according to the Salina Journal. Street value of the blow: $2 million.
Dogs sniffed out the coke in a a couple of suitcases. The Salina Journal says no arrests were made on the date of the seizure, but many people were arrested last week in connection with a Hollywood, California, cocaine ring.
Drug lords, take note. Salina is not a friendly refueling spot. The cocaine bust was the second major seizure in Salina in the last three months; $5.5 million in case was seized from a Cessna Citation jet on October 13.
