A lot of conspiracy theories come out of the Midwest -- at least for Jesse "The Body" Ventura's TruTV show. There's the missile silos turned into condos for rich people for the coming Armageddon. There's the plan to move the Plum Island research facility to the middle of Kansas. Now, there's the fusion centers -- and one Parkville native is telling the former wrestler-turned-Minnesota-governor about 'em.
Catherine Bleish, the former head of the local Liberty Restoration Project, appeared on last Friday's episode of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura -- near train tracks, for some inexplicable reason -- to talk about being placed on a watch list, the "Modern Militia Movement" report that linked the Libertarian Party to domestic terrorism, and fusion centers.
I'll always remember Bleish from this video of her getting kicked out Gov. Jay Nixon's office -- and acting really bratty in the process. Hey, the security guy is just trying to do his job. I get that you want to talk to the governor about the militia report, and I agree you deserve answers, but hassling the security detail isn't the way.
Watch Bleish's segment below.
And here's more on fusion centers.
