Every year at The Pitch, we go into our giant money room and dig out $4,000 to bestow on four local Masterminds -- artists, performers, and other cultural visionaries who make Kansas City a 14 to 18 percent cooler place to call home. (Meet last year's Masterminds here.)
Next year will be no different: Four $1,000 prizes handed to four local luminaries, with no caveats except that they can't use the money to take out an ad saying what bastards we are, unless the ad is really clever and pretty, in which case go for it.
