The Insight Bowl just got a lot easier for the Missouri Tigers. Derrell Johnson-Koulianos, the Iowa Hawkeyes career leader in receptions and receiving yards and a first-team All-Big Ten selection, won't be playing in the game after police searched his Iowa City home on Tuesday and found a whole lot of prescription drugs that didn't belong to DJK along with marijuana, cocaine, more than $3,000 in cash, a digital scale and more.

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz suspended the receiver, who, from the sounds of it, was living in a residential pharmacy.

"I am

highly disappointed to learn of the charges," Ferentz said in a

statement. "Derrell has been suspended from all team activities."

Iowa City police were reportedly investigating DJK's roommate, 21-year-old Brady Cooper Johnson.

They searched the house Tuesday and turned up the drugs.

DJK reportedly admitted to police that he smoked marijuana, used cocaine and popped the prescription pills. A piss test came back positive for pot and coke. Take a look at the list of prescription drugs found in DJK's bedroom (via The Des Moines Register):

... pamoate, diazepam, hydromorphone hydrochloride and zolpidem tartrate

pills in Johnson-Koulianos' bedroom. Pamoate is one of the two

formations of hydroxyzine, an antihistamine used to treat mild anxiety,

insomnia, motion-sickness, itching and allergies and is known as an

effective sedative and tranquilizer. Diazepam is used to treat anxiety,

insomnia and seizures. Hydromorphone hydrochloride is a narcotic

analgesic which Johnson-Koulianos allegedly told officers he takes to

help with pain, according to police. Zolpidem tartrate is used to treat

insomnia.

DJK didn't have a prescription for the drugs, which he told police that he "gets from friends," according to court records. DJK also allegedly "admitted he knew drugs were being used and likely sold out of the residence."

The Cedar Rapids Gazette reported that police believe DJK sold "large amounts" of marijuana."

Here's the formal list of charges: four counts of possession of a controlled substance,

two counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs and keeping a

drug house.

Before the season, DJK posted this to his now deactivated Facebook page (via Sports by Brooks):

Finally Captain Kirk has put my issues with the media to bed! For those who read his comments today, there you have it! Coach Killjoy and Mr. Fun-Haver have reached a mutual agreement -- Playing time over T.V. time! Some may be disappointed with my decision, but I feel it is unnecessary to jeopardize this opportunity for a few media sound bites. See you in January! M.P.O.D.

Now that his season is essentially over, DJK can talk to all of the reporters that he wants. Except now it sounds like he doesn't want to talk. That's probably smart. No matter. No DJK is good news for the Tigers.
