In this week's Pitch, we pay tribute to the loons and degenerates who labored so diligently to ruin Kansas City in 2010, in our first-ever Larry Johnson Awards.
These stalwarts of suck were: Kris Kobach (Salesman of the Year), Owen Hawkins (Businessman of the Year), Jason Whitlock (Employee of the Year), Karen Pletz (Executive of the Year), KU's Phi Gamma Delta (Humanitarians of the Year), Matt Bartle (Statesman of the Year), Judge Joseph Locascio (Jurist of the Year) and CurtisGotSlapped.com founder Lisa Henry Bowen (Mom of the Year).
But like every awards show, some worthy contenders surely got
overlooked. So we ask you, dear readers: Who do you think deserved to be
honored this year? What public figure most exemplified the awfulness of
Larry Johnson in 2010?
Submit your nominations (Category, Winner) in the comments section.
We'll compile them into a later post, so everyone gets his or her due.
And remember to live by the Credo of Larry: "It's Been a Few Hours -- I
Should Probably Do Something Really Dumb Now"
