Doug E. Fresh, who seems as amused as the rest of us to find himself back on the cutting edge of pop culture, made an appearance on ESPN2 to rate video clips of sports personalities doing "the Dougie." (He gave the Wizards' John Wall a solid "9.")
This prompted the Plog to search YouTube for clips of local athletes doing the Dougie. And -- how did we miss this? -- the video that turned up is nothing short of epic. Kansas State basketball players Jacob Pullen and Rodney McGruder comb the streets of Manhattan, Kansas, for college chicks to teach them to Dougie. Check it after the jump:
It gets better after the first few minutes, once Pullen and McGruder are done torturing us with man-on-the-street impressions of K-State head coach Frank Martin.
Skip ahead to the 2:30 minute mark to see the entire team Dougie with the Wildcats' cheerleaders during their October 15 Midnight Madness season tip-off event.
