Tynisha J. Story guilty of killing Lakeasha Ross on New Year's Day 2010

A woman accused of committing Kansas City, Kansas' first homicide of 2010 has been found guilty. A Wyandotte County jury found Tynisha J. Story guilty Friday of first-degree murder for shooting and killing 19-year-old Lakeasha D. Ross.

Story, 20, shot and killed Ross in the 2000 block of South

Mill Street in Kansas City, Kansas at 7:55 a.m. on New Year's Day. Story's sentencing is scheduled for 11 a.m. January 21, 2011.
