Fellas, the dream of marrying 2008's Miss Missouri is off the table -- unless you're Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
Romo popped the question on Candice Crawford's 24th birthday while out to dinner with her family, according to People. Crawford is long-gone from Missouri, where she studied business and journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
She's now an anchor for the CW Dallas/Fort Worth-affiliate KDAF-TV, which is pretty territorial over the photo of the rock on her finger.
Jessica Simpson will just have to wonder what might have been (although she's moved on too).
