Dennis Engelhard had a highway dedicated to him, but his partner can't get survivor benefits.
The state of Missouri is denying survivor benefits to the partner of a Missouri Highway Patrolman killed in the line of duty -- on Christmas Day last year, no less. The state dedicated a stretch of Interstate 44 to Cpl. Dennis Engelhard, who died while trying to help a motorist. While honoring Engelhard, the state is still denying benefits to Engelhard's partner of 15 years. No, it doesn't make sense. Today's comment of the day goes to Charles, who has a modest request.
"how can people hate so much? it breaks my heart. boycott that state."
