At the close of 2010, incoming Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach was named in Lawyer USA's "Lawyers of the Year" list. The 11 lawyers are honored for having made an "important impact on the law" during the past year.
His achievement comes from screwing over immigrants, hard, by helping
write Arizona's scathing SB 1070 anti-illegals law. LawyersUSA writes that Kobach stands "on
the frontline of the country's legal battles" -- kind of like how he's
standing in the photo at right.
Kobach takes office next week as secretary of Hate state, where we expect he'll finally realize that he lives in Kansas, not Arizona.

Kobach is truly a disgusting individual.
He's long been looking for those clever Hispanics who have been swarming over the border and illegally registering to vote here in Kansas, intent on polluting our precious bodily fluids and electing Democrats..
He went on a relentless search for one such fraud, and actually found two. Both were green card holders who were given registration documents by workers at the DMV and thought they were supposed to fill them out.
Meanwhile, he seems to have missed the Independence, KS, couple who voted for McCain in both Independence and in Maricopa County, Arizona. The pair were contributors to various Republican campaigns including those of Derek Schmidt's.
