Robert J. Reed had a sick way of getting rid of the pre-wedding jitters.
According to the Wichita Eagle, the 22-year-old groom-to-be went out drinking with his brother, Michael Reed, and a friend, Jeremy Trout, in May 2009. It was the night before Robert Reed's wedding. After they were liquored up, Reed unromantically told his bride that he and his bachelor party were off to visit the home of an acquaintance, Vincent Barnes, to look for drugs.
At Barnes' apartment, a fight broke out among the men, and Reed shot Barnes fatally in the stomach.
His trial was set to begin this week, but Reed pleaded guilty. He'll be sentenced next month for murder and burglary. Because he pleaded, he'll run his sentences concurrently. The newlywed faces 16-66 years in prison, where it's hoped he'll remain for happily ever after.

First off this Mandy bitch that wrote this needs to get her facks straight befor running her mouth about a story she clearly doesnt know much about!!! They did NOT go there "to look for drugs" its been reported that they didnt have any drugs on them. The person who was all "DRUGED up was Vincent! did he deserve to be shot NO but was he some precious angel that did no wrong, the answer to that is NO as well. My heart goes out to the familys on both sides. It was a tramatic situation that resulted from panic and hesitation. For you to say he deserves his "happily ever after" in jail you can go to hell BITCH! be a better reporter and try to get all sides of the story before you run ur mouth!
