Todd Haley yanked play-calling from Charlie Weis, proving this Pitch cover right

Bob Fescoe of 610 Sports is reporting that the man above (directly above, that is) stripped Offensive Coordinator Charlie Weis of his play-calling duties in the second half yesterday, because what you want to do after winning 10 games is change basic, fundamental shit about the way you do things.

If true, this proves the above headline correct (and makes us think twice about that subhead).

Bob Fescoe is like a real life version of that mustachioed SNL character who looks around nervously before spouting something like, "Just heard this on the street...Brett Favre...is going to announce he's finally RETARDED." I wouldn't put much stock in it.

If true, it would have kicked ass if Weis had set down his headset and walked out of the stadium.
