Who wants to nail a Sporting Kansas City player with a snowball? Today at noon, you have your chance. Fans will meet soccer players in a snowfight (they're calling it specialKCsnowmageddon on Twitter) at a park near the north side of the Kansas City Repertory Theatre (at Volker Boulevard and Rockhill Road).
The Cauldron, fans of the franchise formerly known as the Wizards, say they'll throw down with Kei Kamara, Matt Besler, Michael Harrington and Jon Kempin. I'm not a soccer fan, but it's really cool that there are pro athletes willing to interact with fans like this.
You won't see LeBron James or Albert Pujols or Tom Brady doing something like this. Best of luck popping 'em with some packed snow.
