It's never fun being last place, but every state has its Achilles' heel.
Pleated Jeans made a map of the "United States of Shame," which showcases the one thing every state fails at harder than any other state. We're reproduced the map below:
To our north, Iowa has the largest population over age 85. Kansas is the least healthy state, its residents sitting on their asses the most days per month: 3.5. (Interestingly, chunky actress Kirstie Alley is moving to Kansas specifically to lose weight.) Oklahomans have the highest percentage of female incarceration. And no one robs like someone from Illinois, where 285 out of 100,000 are thieves.
What's a little money mismanagement compared with our dying, sickly, criminal neighbors? Seriously. It's hard to believe we share borders with these people.
