Hitting a parked train takes some skill. As a target, a choo-choo isn't small. And if it's not roaring down the tracks, then there's plenty of opportunity to stomp on the brake. But that was apparently a problem for one woman earlier this morning.
According to KCTV5, the possibly intoxicated woman ran her SUV into a train at 18th Street and Kansas Avenue in KCK around 7:15 a.m. The collision was strong enough to deploy the SUV's airbag.
The woman's injuries weren't serious, and she's expected to recover, the Kansas City Kansan reported. If police are right about her being intoxicated, it goes without saying that you have serious problems when you run into a train.
