The woman who committed Kansas City, Kansas' first homicide of 2010 won't be getting out of prison for at least 25 years.
Tynisha Story was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years for shooting and killing
19-year-old Lakeasha D. Ross on New Year's Day 2010.
Story, 20, shot and killed
Ross at an apartment complex in the 2000 block of South
Mill Street in Kansas City, Kansas, at 7:55 a.m. on January 1, 2010.
In December, a Wyandotte County jury found Story guilty of first-degree
murder.
