Missouri authorities don't appreciate the DIY-spirit of some folks. A marijuana grow house was busted up in Grandview and authorities seized more than 380 pot plants, the Star reported.

The Missouri Highway Patrol and the Jackson County Sheriff's Department arrested a 54-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman for felony possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.

That'll happen when authorities find that many plants and grow equipment along with a large sum of cash ($7,580) and two pounds of processed pot. It's hard to start up a business these days.

Considering that the MO lawmakers effectively protect puppy mills and dog fighting as an acceptable livelihood and critical source of state revenue, I don't understand their persistence in blocking our right to vote on legalizing pot.

These lawmakers claim to be soooooooooooo concerned for agri-bussiness (the logic they use to treat puppies as product), but apparently can't connect together pot<-->agri-business<-->revenue, let alone the simpler connection of pot<-->revenue.

The collective IQ of these lawmakers is that of a MO-ron.

And spare me the crappola retorts rgarding pot as evil. I have to survive the thong of drunks on our highways everyday. The cops need to busy themselves with something more benficial.
