The Metro Squad is trying to piece together why three men were shot and killed Saturday inside a hotel room at a Northland Red Roof Inn.
Authorities say the victims are 18-year-olds Dejan Joksimovic and Armin Hamidovic and 22-year-old Delfino Elizondo. The Star reported that no arrests have been made, and detectives are still trying to figure out what led up to the triple homicide.
Here's what is known about the triple homicide, according to Metro Squad spokesman Marcus Regan, via the Star:
Authorities said that the party had been disruptive while in Independence. Twice their revelry had triggered noise complaints that attracted police.Authorities found Joksimovic and Hamidovic dead at the scene. Elizondo was removed from life support on Sunday.
The party disbanded but moved to the Red Roof Inn in southern Clay County.
At 3:19 a.m., a caller told a dispatcher that there was a large group of people and a "disturbance" inside a second-floor room at the Red Roof Inn.
