Did you know the song numbers in the Dave's Stagecoach jukebox (R.I.P.) by heart? Can you explain the allure of Kona Grill as vigorously and accurately as you can the Riot Room? Can you drink on someone else's dime but not get so hammered that you leave your notebook on the back of the toilet?

If yes, we may have a job for you. Or you may have a drinking problem. Read on to find out which!

The Pitch is looking for a part-time, freelance clubs editor to serve as the journalistic dean of Kansas City nightlife. The ideal candidate will have experience writing about nightlife; a detailed knowledge of the local bar-and-club landscape; a demonstrated track record of organization, accuracy and reliability; and an original, vibrant voice when it comes to telling the stories of this area's eclectic nightlife.

This is a 28-hour-per-week freelance position. For the right writer, other freelance opportunities will emerge.

Interested candidates should send a resume, a few related writing samples, and a 200-300-word description of a favorite Kansas City bar to:

Dave's is still there, but the jukebox has been replaced by a TouchTunes.

Didn't realize my (possibly) having a drinking problem and the Pitch (potentially) offering me a job were mutually exclusive.

Still love that pic, tho!

Did Dave's Stagecoach close or did just the jukebox die??? I'm freaking out here, either way.
