Kansas City's Medical Marijuana March is just two months away. If you're just so hyped up about the May 7 march that you just can't wait, then you should be at the University of Missouri-Kansas City on Sunday.
Kansas City's pro-pot lobby will hold a forum discussing "What if Cannabis Cured Cancer," which promises to talk about "the truth about this ancient medicine" and that "world-renowned scientists in the field of cannabinoid research
illustrate their truly mind-blowing discoveries." I'm just guessing that the answer is yes.
They'll also explain how we're all born with a form of marijuana in our bodies, and smoking up unlocks our inner "endocannabinoids." Does this mean I'm not going to pass my drug test? Add that to "the more you know" file.
The forum is at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 6 at UMKC's Haag Hall.

The real shame is that our federal government has put a lock down on Cannabis research, just this week I read where Dr.Lyle Cracker has given up his 10 year battle with the feds to allow his University to grow Cannabis for Medical research.Cannabis has multiple use as medicine, without further research the full potential will never be known.
To all of you Know Nothing Prohibitionists out there, do you know that a lot of people use Cannabis medicinally and they do not get "high", they juice it , or a tincture can be made, some even speculate that the "healing Ointment" that Jesus used had Cannabis as one of it's main ingredients. Our federal Government needs to Reschedule Cannabis out of the CSA schedule 1, so that Research can proceed.
