A 17-year-old became Kansas City, Missouri's 19th homicide victim Saturday night. Monte Wedd, 17, was shot to death in a "rolling gunbattle" between passengers in two vehicles at 44th and Agnes.

Wedd died at the scene. Another teen was shot in the gunfight but was listed in fair condition at a local hospital.

Detectives are still chasing leads, but they were said to be looking for a silver passenger car. If you have information that can help find who killed Wedd, call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.

Also over the weekend, police arrested a man after finding the body of 40-year-old Chershia Mayberry on the front porch of a home on East 27th Terrace Saturday afternoon. Mayberry's cause of death hasn't been released, but police are calling her death "suspicious," adding that there were "obvious signs of trauma."

Witnesses reported hearing a disturbance at the home earlier in the day.

Finally, across the state line in Kansas City, Kansas, a man was killed Saturday. The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Willie E. Hill IV of KCK. The KCKPD is looking for tips. If you have one, call 913-573-6020 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
