Former Kansas Jayhawk and current Tampa Bay

Buccaneer Aqib Talib has turned himself into police in Texas after being accused of firing a gun at his sister's boyfriend, the Associated Press reported.

Talib, who has an Incredible Hulk-sized anger-management problem, had been called a "person of interest" in the March 21 incident, in which Talib allegedly attempted to

pistol-whip his sister's boyfriend, Shannon Billings. That didn't work out so well, with the gun getting knocked to the ground during the exchange, and Billings telling police that he picked up the piece and began to run, only to be fired upon by Okolo

Talib, his girlfriend Saran's mother.

Billings added that Aqib Talib took the gun from his mother and fired at least

two

shots at him as he ran into the woods.

Good thing the Talibs are apparently bad shots.

Authorities had issued an arrest warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for Talib and his mother. Talib is free after reportedly posting a $25,000 bond. Mom is also free after posting bond. She's facing charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Earlier this week, my colleague David Martin pointed out Talib's past run-ins with Johnny Law:

Last fall, Talib chewed out and reportedly threatened to hit an

official after the Buccaneers lost a game. Talib was arrested after he

allegedly punched a cab driver in 2009, the same year he

injured a teammate with a swing of his helmet. After being drafted in 2008,

he fought with another rookie at a life-skills

symposium.

Somebody get this guy some help.
