  • It's not enough to rob you; we have to stab you, too.

It goes without saying that people who break into your house to rob you are assholes. But some are desperate assholes who don't actually want to hurt anyone, just make off with your DVD player. And some are evil, miserable assholes who help make KC so damn depressing.

Unfortunately for one unidentified man in the 4000 block of Wabash Ave., he got a visit this morning from the second kind of asshole.

According to the KCPD, officers were called to the Wabash residence at 7:30 a.m. to find the still conscious victim. The man explained that two men had forced their way into his home, stabbed him, and drove off in a brown/green Buick.

The man was taken to the hospital with reportedly life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information about the crime can contact the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (474-8477).

Hat tip, Crime Scene KC.
