Cleveland Browns fans really want Peyton Hillis on the cover of Madden '12. Hillis destroyed Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles in the quarterfinals of the fan vote to see whose image will appear on the game's cover -- and be the next victim of the Madden Curse.

Hillis received 60 percent of the vote to Charles' 40 percent. Hillis moves on to face Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and ESPN reports that Hillis already has a big lead.

Charles clearly wanted to be on the cover of the game, promoting it on his Twitter page. Today, he was classy in defeat:

Thanks for voting! I really appreciate all the support. Didn't make it to the next Madden cover round but it was fun while it lasted..

There are probably more than a few Chiefs fans breathing a sigh of relief, knowing that if Charles does get injured this season, it won't be because of the Madden Curse.

You can vote here.
