Jack Cashill, the Kansas City-based conspiracy theorist, believes that Barack Obama's political career is built on a pack of lies. He's suspicious about the birth certificate, of course. He thinks Bill Ayers ghost-wrote Obama's autobiography Dreams From My Father, an idea that Donald Trump has taken out for a test drive. He doubts that Barack Obama Sr. is the president's biological father, preferring a leftist poet and journalist named Frank Marshall Davis as the impregnator.
Cashill's most recent bit of Obamaology was in the public realm for all of eight hours before it became an object of ridicule. Writing at WorldNetDaily, Cashill asserted that Obama had been inserted into a photograph of his maternal grandparents. But the supposedly damning "source" image is itself a Photoshop job, and a sloppy one at that.
Why would anyone even think of doctoring a 30-year-old picture of Obama's grandparents sitting on a bench in Central Park? Well, Cashill and others are of the mind that Obama has not properly accounted for his whereabouts during the 1981-82 school year. The official story is that Obama was a student at Columbia University, after transferring from Occidental College. Cashill is open to the idea that Obama spent the year in Pakistan. His piece about the future president's "missing year" leaves it to the reader to imagine Obama in a tunic, listening to radical ideas and possibly being conditioned to respond to a queen of diamonds playing card.
In the original version of his piece, Cashill opens by describing the photograph of a "dapper young Barack Obama sitting between his grandparents on a Central Park bench." But it's a fake!
The bench is real. The grandparents are real. The wall behind them is real. Barack Obama is not. He has been conspicuously photo-shopped in. Who did this and why remains as much a mystery as Obama's extended stay in New York.But as Media Matters was apparently the first to note, Obama's knee is still visible in the "real" photo.
Once the jig was up, the reference to the photograph was scrubbed from Cashill's column (without notice or explanation). Asked about the piece by Salon, WorldNetDaily editor and CEO Joseph Farah conceded that an "egregious error" had been made. (At the same time, Farah defended a columnist's privilege to disseminate "misinformation.")
Cashill told Salon in an e-mail (which he shared with us) that he had asked for his column to be reworked after the "questions about the legitimacy" of the Photoshop job were raised. He continued:
The original photo was apparently released by the Obama campaign in April 2008. The experts with whom I consulted after the fact were not convinced that the original was legitimate, but they were confident that the photo of the couple together in the video had been reverse-doctored. The person who sent me the video did so in good faith, and I suspect that the person who created it did so in good faith as well, but my readers depend on me to be right. So out it went. That strikes me as responsible journalism, especially since I only added it incidentally as a symbol of the mystery surrounding the Obama campaign.
He goes on to note Obama's unwillingness to discuss his New York years with The New York Times in 2007 and the "curious" timing of Obama's revelation, during the 2008 campaign, that he had visited Pakistan in 1981.
Obama added Pakistan to a three-week travel itinerary that also featured a stop in Indonesia, where his mother and sister were living. That's the official story, anyway.

Then an official investigation, including DNA analysis that would disprove the alien paternity, will be doing Barry a favor, right? An official subpoena that produces the original birth certificate showing two citizen parents would confirm Barry's eligibility at birth. Why shouldn't Congress subpoena the DNA and vital records? Because Barry's claim to the distinction of a black Luo father would be exposed as a hoax.
The rub for Obama is that his DNA and original birth certificate will show that he has no Negro father. He must choose between an original birth certificate showing two U.S. citizen birth parents, neither of whom is Negro, and continuing to make a false claim that his adoptive parents are his birth parents, which can be disproved by his DNA and his original birth certificate.
Stanley Armour Dunham would not have picked an alien adoptive father for his little bastard if he had anticipated his son would run for the Office of President (unlikely) or that the alien false father would render him ineligible (even more unlikely). Chester Alan Arthur concealed the fact that his father was alien at Chester's birth, and distracted the public from the issue by proving that Chester himself was born in the U.S.A. Obama is trying a variation on that scam.
You make an interesting point, at first glance rather persuasive. But Barry's having an alien father and purportedly being born in Kenya did not make him ineligible for his earlier elective offices. Given the Obama cabal's disregard for the Constitution, Barry might not have realized until fairly late in the game, when the presidency loomed as a real possibility, that his foreign birth as well as an alien putative father could be problems. By then his political foundation was his fictitious racial heritage. What tangled webs we weave when first we practice to deceive.
To understand Barry better, read "Alger Hiss's Looking-Glass Wars: The Covert Life of a Soviet Spy" (Oxford University Press 2004) G. Edward White. Obama is Hiss on steroids. White wrote that Hiss was "a comparatively unusual type of human . . . . whose traits and characteristics [are] complemented by, rather than conflicting with, the secret world of a professional spy. Far from finding the norms of duplicity that mark the secret world disquieting, [he] appears to [take] pleasure in the pursuit of covert goals and in the creation of devices to shield that pursuit from others", Obama, like Hiss and the typical spy, has great confidence in his ability to manipulate others, and a strong penchant for risky strategies.
Hence it is not altogether surprising that Obama will go with the fraudulent alien father he is stuck with by his father's machinations and his own pretense, intending to carry the day with a frivolous legal position that anybody born in the U.S.A. is a "natural born citizen" under Article II Section 1 U.S. Constitution. If that perchance does not work, he will try to submit the original birth certificate under seal to get on the ballot, so that nobody will learn that his claim to the distinction of being the son of a Luo tribesman is a racist hoax. If somehow the truth outs, he has prepared psy-op excuses - what's a little fib in politics, evil politicians claiming he's a bastard for dastardly political reasons, always identified with all people of color who were sore oppressed, etc.
And withal Barry hopes the people will not look into his real eligibility problem, his probable loss of U.S. citizenship by his acquisition and exercise of Indonesian citizenship, and his corrupt and seditious bargains to conceal his Indonesian citizenship.
Every citizen and aspiring citizen should advise his congressional delegation that votes, money and other support will be withheld from every member if Congress does not conduct exhaustive, comprehensive, good-faith investigation into Obama, at long last, to resolve questions of his personal and racial identity, eligibility, U.S. citizenship, his cover-up of Indonesian citizenship, and his true allegiance.
And David Martin's egregious error is not thinking things through in a thorough, objective and comprehensive way, using publicly available albeit incomplete information and drawing reasonable inferences therefrom.
This error has led the credulous David Martin to believe the hoax Barry has propounded, that Barry's adoptive parents were his birth parents, that therefore Stanley Armour Dunham was his grandfather and Madelyn Lee Payne Dunham his grandmother. After all, this is the gospel according to Obama, who has never been known to lie.
It's far more likely that Stanley Armour Dunham was Barry's father, by an as yet unknown obliging predominantly Polynesian wahine.
My investigation to date indicates that thorough official investigation invoking the public authority to compel testimony under oath and seizure of documentary and real evidence through subpoenae and search warrants would show that Barry is

- not American
- not President
- not an enemy agent; strike that.
Stanley Armour Dunham arranged to have a son out of wedlock by a native Hawai'ian wahine, from whom Obama gets his warm mahogany complexion. He prevailed upon his daughter Stanley Ann Dunham to enter into a platonic matrimonial relationship with his communist buddy the alien black Luo tribesman Barack Hussein Obama. Stanley Ann absented herself from the island to conceal the fact that she wasn't pregnant. A story was concocted that she had gone to Kenya for laying in and birth. The Kenyan birth myth was born. Before birth, probably even before conception, Barry's life was a tissue of lies.
When a child is born, a birth certificate is created. This is a contemporaneous record of birth showing birth parents. It is kept on file to guard against violations of the law against consanguinity. Barry won't release his largely because it will show he has no Negro parent, even though it would also confirm that both birth parents were U.S. citizens, making him a natural born U.S. citizen at birth.
When a child is adopted, an amended birth certificate is created, naming the adoptive parents. The so-called "birth certificate" proffered by Barry on 27 April 2011 is a picture of his amended birth certificate, what amounts to an adoption certificate. It was carefully but not perfectly masked to obscure the word "AMENDED" typed in the margin above the printed caption "CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH". The imperfection of the masking can be seen with the naked eye: the unnaturally sharp corner of the dark triangular shadow at the upper left of the document and the barely perceptible line from the sharp point of the triangle across the page. The mask was fully illuminated, while the document was in a bound volume. It was apparently photographed, printed out, laid flat, masked and photographed again, flat. Hence the obscuring of part of the shadow at the left margin from being bound, and the light line across the page from the slight space between the mask and the initial picture. Analysis of Barry's DNA would disprove this document as an original birth certificate by showing it's biologically impossible for Barry to be the child of a Negro father and a Caucasian mother.
Holding out the amended birth certificate as the original birth certificate, masked with a few additional anomalies thrown in for fun, baits the birthers to concentrate on the genuineness of the proffered document and overlook the real point: the original birth certificate showing that Barry, while born eligible, had no Negro parent. That remains in the bound volume in the file cabinet on the first floor of the Hawai'ian Department of Health. So Barry remains able to pose as African American, making racist pleas for votes while denigrating critics and opponents as racists. The biggest minstrel show in history.
Barry's contrived birth controversy also inhibits congressmen and other officials from investigating Obama's real eligibility problem, his acquisition and exercise of Indonesian citizenship, which might have cost him his U.S. citizenship and constitutional eligibility to the Office of President. He can't be a natural born U.S. citizen if he's not a U.S. citizen at all, even though he was a natural born U.S. citizen at the time of his birth. Barry must think this is a problem, for he has made corrupt and seditious bargains with alien interests to cover up his Indonesian citizenship, and sealed his records stateside.
Far more significant facts than gotcha trivia on photoshopping Barry in or out of a photograph remain to be ascertained. Thorough official investigation is needed, starting with Barry's DNA to ascertain Obama's very identity, his racial lineage, his citizenship, his eligibility, and his true alliance (probably to the Comintern). The problem is not that the record has been corrected, it's that no complete record has been made by exhaustive official investigation, such as a congressional investigation. The House RINOs are afraid to do it for fear of being deemed racist for investigating a Negro father's son. Ironically, the first steps, identifying Obama by DNA and vital records including his original birth certificate, would show Barry had no Negro father.

World Net Daily does this all the time as do their proteges like WND contributor Andrea Shea King. Earlier this year King had Greg Lakin, the brother of convicted Birther COL Terry Lakin on her internet radio show. A caller got Greg to admit that Terry had tried unsuccessfully to obtain a "long form" birth certificate for his own daughter from Hawaii while asking Obama to do the same. After the show King immediately scrubbed most of the call out of the web archive version of the show then lied about the edits the next evening.

Jack has made a nice living writing and editing over the years. He's also won various prizes and awards for continuing to sport the worst comb-over ever despite nearly universal complaints that it makes him look like a dithering old fool.

Disseminating a lie takes a second, correcting the record takes years. Sad that Cashill's mistake will be forgotten long before the fake bench photo.
It no longer matters to Cashill that the record has been corrected. All that matters is that to bogus information got out there in the first place, and now there will be a cottage industry of people who will forever believe it's true.
And that's all that matters.
It makes sense that if you want the Presidency you would lie about who your real father was and claim it was a Kenyan national with a sketchy background just to get more votes.
