U.S. map of Marijuana laws shows Missouri and Kansas are still behind

Because it's 4/20 and it's now map day on the Plog, here's a U.S. map of marijuana laws courtesy of the good folks at NORML and Buzzfeed. Seeing the leaf on Nebraska and Minnesota gives me a little hope of a future with medical marijuana.

Hopefully our state budget crisis will force politicians to take a good, hard look at our dysfunctional marijuana laws. There's no reason to put marijuana users in prison, and we just can't afford to do it anymore.
