St. Joseph's Little Kato (aka Chris Dube) is one tough sonuvabitch. He has wrestled through broken bones and serious neck injuries, and he takes his pay staple-gunned into his skin.
He's so tough that just describing it doesn't seem sufficient. So after the jump, I'm going to show you how Little Kato earns his money, and why I wanted him on the cover of this week's Pitch.
Kato is one of the Half-Pint Brawlers, arguably the nation's premier midget-wrestling troupe. In this week's feature, "Little Bastard," I follow Kato through one wild weekend of wrestling at a tattoo convention. Becoming a midget brawler reunited him with his long-lost father, and St. Joseph, Missouri, might just be the home to one of the most unique wrestling schools in the world. Oh, and if you're getting uncomfortable with the m-word, Kato loves it.
I know, I know, you followed me over the jump to see midget-wrestling action, not to hear me pimp the cover story. After you watch this video of Little Kato and the Brawlers in action, I won't have to convince you to read it. Kato is the bald dude in the black T-shirt and red shorts. If you're at work, call everyone in the office over to see this right now!
