Daniel Kilgore was an unemployed scout leader with the Boy Scouts of America before Wednesday. Now, the 51-year-old is accused of being a child molester.
Kilgore was charged with three counts of first-degree child molestation for allegedly sexually molesting three female family members -- between the ages of 5 and 12 years old -- multiple times at a relative's home in Liberty.
KCTV5 reported that the victims' mother reported the allegations to police. The TV station also reported that Kilgore has been active in the Boy Scouts for more than 40 years and has served as a scoutmaster for the last 10 years. Authorities say they're unaware of any of the alleged victims being Boy Scouts.
Kilgore wouldn't talk with detectives. His bond is set at $100,000. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years for each count.
