UPDATE: Kansas City police say the victim of Sunday afternoon's homicide is 29-year-old Sorie Mansaray. Police are still looking for his killer and say no suspects are in custody.
Original Story: Kansas City's homicide total has climbed to 31. In less than a week, four names have been added to the death toll. The latest came Sunday afternoon when a black man in his 20s was found shot to death outside an apartment complex at 93rd and Bales.
Witnesses told police that the victim may have been involved in a shootout with another person around 3:22 p.m. Police found a handgun in the area.
