Earlier this week, Dorothy Cascone was sentenced to five years in prison for her failed murder-for-hire
plot to kill George, her ex-husband of about 11 years. Dorothy was hoping to cash in on four life-insurance polices that she kept on George, who still feels insulted by Dorothy's bounty on his head.
George Cascone told Fox 4 that a good hit costs at least $10,000 -- $5,000 before and $5,000 after. Dorothy was only offering $2,000.
"Well, that's too cheap!" Greg told Fox 4. "I was insulted by that."
George Cascone added that his wife gave the would-be hit man a .38.
"It was just a .38," he said. "I've already been shot five
times. I wouldn't have been afraid of that."
