The roof on a church on Linwood Boulevard collapsed Thursday morning, bringing down a brick wall with it. According to reports, no one was hurt.

A hole appeared in the east wall of the Cain-Grant African Methodist Episcopal Church, at 1701 Linwood Boulevard, before the roof came down. The portion of the building that failed appears to be an addition to the original, which is adorned with Stars of David, suggesting that it was a synagogue in a former life.
