UPDATE (July 12): Jacob Pullen didn't sign with a Turkish team after all. Reports last week that he did so were wrong, wrong, wrong. Pullen has reportedly signed with Italian team Angelico Biella, according to the Wichita Eagle. My comments below remain the same, except for the Turkey parts.
Original Story (July 6): Kansas State point guard Jacob Pullen didn't get drafted in last month's NBA Draft. Not a huge surprise. He'd have been a second-round pick at best and likely would have struggled to stick with a team. With the NBA lockout underway, indefinitely shutting down the business of pro basketball (no summer league games, no free agency, nothing), several players are looking for work overseas. And Pullen has finally found work ... in Turkey Italy.
Pullen signed with Turkish team Antalya, according to Eurobasket. It's the best move for him. He's going to get paid to play basketball. And let's face it, Pullen probably wasn't going to play in the league. But he will likely carve out a nice international career. Best of luck, neck beard.
