The friends of Jeremiah Morris told Fox 4 that the Kansas City man collapsed during last weekend's Warrior Dash and died.
According to Fox 4, Morris, "a rugby player in excellent condition," suffered heat stroke. They blame the organizers of the competition for not supplying enough water or cooling stations. However, the health department has yet to confirm that Morris' death was due to the heat.
It's a shame someone was cut down in the prime of his life. If you can handle working out in the heat, great for you. But that's not for me. I'm never going to regret sitting in my air-conditioned apartment and watching wrestling over the weekend.
