The U.S. Women's National Soccer Team will play against Canada at Livestrong Sporting Park on September 17. This will be the women's first match since losing to Japan in the finals of the Women's World Cup. Oh, and how could I forget about Abby Wambach and her scoring heroics.
Solo made me a fan after seeing her on (I believe) ESPN's news magazine, E:60. Solo expressed remorse and is an easy person to rally behind.
Canada, eh, was knocked out of the first round of the World Cup. The Canadians have only beat the United States three times in history. Earlier this year, the United States beat 'em 2-1 in the Four Nations Tournament in China.
